TRAUMA
How do we define trauma? "Anything that happens in our lives that are so emotionally disturbing that we have no idea how to process it". It puts us in constant high activation of self-protection and scanning for danger.
Traumatic memories keep coming back. Hiding things that happened feeling nobody would understand. Or fear of shame. Things you don’t want to speak of, but you know they are there.
Problematic relationships keep happening. Is there hope? The answer is – yes.
ANXIETY
Worry. Spinning thoughts. Anxiety. Possibly panic. Tension. Cannot relax. Cannot shut off my mind to sleep. Fear.
