Coaching is separate from therapy and cannot overlap.

Coaching is about guidance. Discussion. Gaining clarity and support.
Is not restricted by state lines – you can be anywhere for your time together.
Can be by audio/visual or phone – your preference.
By appointment, of course.

No diagnoses. No assessments. No treatment plans. No medical necessity required.
No “therapy”, which means no therapy modalities like CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc., because it is not treatment for a diagnosable problem.
No billing codes.
Not billable to nor reimbursable by insurance.
No medical records following you.

Talk to your Coach and make a plan to work together.
This is your plan – you do not have to justify it to insurance, because insurance simply does not cover coaching.
If you want Christian coaching – perfect. Just ask.
